Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is one of the most critical tools currently being used in the environmental management and regulatory approvals process.
This geographic data management tool captures, manipulates, analyses, stores and presents GIS data that is linked to a central location. .
Environment Design and Heritage (EDH) provides a comprehensive GIS service utilising the latest software and technology to assist professionals, clients and stakeholders to interpret, create and analyse data to make better, more informed decisions. .
EDH provides GIS support to technical disciplines including: .
Environmental Assessments (EA/EIS) .
Heritage: European and Aboriginal Heritage Assessments, Salvage and Test Excavations.
Ecology: Seven Part Tests, Species Impact Statements, Ecological Assessments.

Combining our experience in the graphic design, technical illustration and GIS fields has led Environment Design and Heritage (EDH) to work on some of the largest environmental and infrastructure approval projects in Australia.
EDH has extensive experience managing the graphic outputs of Environmental Impact Assessments and understand the complexity of dealing with large multi-disciplinary teams and the various technical disciplines that contribute to these projects. .
From the outset of the project we can establish the visual identity and branding, Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) graphics, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/EIS) figures and technical illustrations through to the print management of the document and delivery to the relevant regulatory authority. .

Technical Illustration is used to visually communicate ideas, data and concepts. It is through illustration and visual communication that these complex ideas along with verbal and/or written communication are more readily absorbed by the end user.
Environment Design and Heritage (EDH) understands that a production of high quality and aesthetically appealing illustration of any given subject can make a favourable impact to the overall project. .
EDH utilise raw CAD and GIS data, or a simple sketch from a project manager, and transforms this detail into an image that is readily understood by a non-technical audience. .
